Hi! My name is Anelga Hajjar and I am a Chicago-based actor and writer. My award-winning play, "Janitor’s Baby” was selected for Northwestern’s “Next Step Project” and had a staged reading with Boho Theatre this past May. At Northwestern, I was a co-director of Mee-ow comedy and performed with Titanic Long Form Improv (Team Pee Shy). My mission is to explore the hyphenated-American experience through my art, especially as the daughter of Lebanese-Armenians who use bowls of fruit to express their parental love.
